I believe indifference to be the same as participation. I am tired of people sitting on the fence on every subject and problem that truly counts. I am tired of political correctness. I am tired of half truths, and bold face lies. I am tired of the same old rhetoric. Ignorance is not bliss, and change will not come unless we create it. We have put too much faith for way too long into systems that fail us. Whether it be the justice system, school system, religion, or the whole idea of democracy itself. When systems start to repeatedly fail those which they are in place to help and protect, is when we need to find new systems that do work for us. Why are we more worried about systems then people? Where has compassion gone? For that matter, how about passion? We've all become mindless drones, programmed to follow the system and never question it. Programmed to hold up the pyramid, but never look up to the top. What would our leaders do without us? If we just stopped, the country would fall apart. They would be forced to listen to us, for we are the true runners of this country. I just want people to stand up and see for once. To truly look at what is going on in the world, and not have the "it doesn't affect me" attitude.
